here in our country, there are a lot of people who are using this kind of shampoo for horses. it's called "mane and tail", and they say it works wonders. they use it to have thicker and stronger hair. but since you have thick hair already, you can try their conditioner. :D i think it's perfectly safe, because even beauty queens recommend it.

I have been straighting my hair for 3 years and i have Very thick long hair ! I found that if you use Panteen pro-v "get it straight smoothing mousse " first while its wet , let it dry and then straighten it with Revlon wet 2 straight it works really good I use the mousse because it helps keep your hair from being frizzy ! But you could also go to a salon and get it chemically straightened it will only last a couple of weeks and then it will grow out but it really works good
GOOD LUCK !

CHI Turbo 1" works great for me, and it doesnt seem to damage as much as other straighteners. It makes my thick hair really smooth and silky and it is my favorite straightener yet and i have tried ALOT of different ones. It costs about $120 but it is definatly worth it.

I find GHD to be the only one that really works on all hair types. And they have 3 different sizes so theres one to suit everyone.
Section you hair and straighten it bit by bit. I find its easier if your hair hasnt just been washed and dried.
If you let your hair dry naturally for a few hours and then run over it with the blow drier before straightening then i think you get a great result.

I have a load of heavy and thick hair. The only things that helps mine is Avons Straight and Sleek Products. Use twice as much conditoner, after drying hair comb it out with detanglier use gel and spray to flatting and you could also get a flat iron. If this doesn't work try some Suave Professionals and a straight iron I love this stuff too!
