Hello, I am a hair stylist . My advice for you would be to invest in a ceramic flat iron. You will need to first cut Long layers to control the thickness and long layers to frame your face. Then use the flat iron (Chi or T3) to flat iron hair smooth. Slowly flat iron from roots to end. The flat ironing doesn't have to be conpletely straight but to control the thickness. If you were my client I would cut the layers, then when hair is wet use a large round wooden brush for fullness, smooth with flat iron. I did this look on a client last week along with golden and auburn highlights. She looked beautiful!

have your stylist use thinning shears with whatever style you end up choosing. my stylist uses them on my thick hair and it makes it SO much easier to comb, style, manage!

Get rid of some of it and lighten your load by putting in layers. This is what I have to do in order to do anything with it. But I don't know about the coloring, cause I don't do that.....

I'd suggest that you go get it layered, that way it should be able to thin out your hair. You should also have it as straight/flat as possible (perhaps get an ionic perm and then layer it)

first of all...quit using box colors and go to a proffessional. its your hair honey, take care of it. and maybe you should have it layered into your face, or or they can even thin it out....just go to a professional and let them make the decision if you cant....but QUIT USING BOX COLORS!!!! please
