Me too! I straighten it before I go to bed and touch it up in the morning.

I also don't wash it all the time. What you do is put your hair in a ponytail and wash the roots at the top of your head (the only part that really goes oily) lean forward and wash the suds out.

That way, you don't have to straighten it all over again.

since thick hair takes 4ever to straighten, simply just don't straighten it! use suave shampoo, conditioner, mousse, and hairspray. when your hair is wet, after taking a shower apply some mousse and you will end up with great looking curls. Trust me!

Same here. Don't straighten it, it will destroy your hair from the heat. Instead just use Curl Activator Gel and gel your hair up in a ponytail and wrap it with a headtie.
