Naturally curly thick frizzy hair?

I was wondering what is the best products out there for my type of hair; this includes mousse, hair spray, shampoos/conditioners, pomades, deep conditioners, serums and maybe more? You get the idea though lol. And is a flat iron really good for my hair, cause I was thinking of straightening it but don't want to pay $300-600 for a chemical straightening treatment. Thanks. I would like something that would get rid of flyways and high humidity/static if possible. I am sorry I know this a lot to ask but I have really bad hair.

First of all, I wanted you to know that I have the same hair type. I'm going to give you advice for only a few brands because it tends to get really confusing to try and buy lots of different brands. Also, most of these products work together so it's really best to go ahead and buy the same brand. Okay...Redken AllSoft shampoo and conditioner are great to start with. Also try the Redken AllSoft Heavy Cream (a deep conditioner). You can use this once a week after shampooing with the AllSoft shampoo. You will want to leave it in about 15 minutes and then rinse it out in cool water. After that, Redken Ringlet is a great product to let your hair air dry without leaving it sticky, stiff, and frizzy. If you decide to straighten your hair, try the Farouk Systems Chi Iron. I have used this iron almost every day for 5 years and it has not damaged my hair. You will want to get the Farouk Systems Silk Therapy and put it on your hair before you straighten your hair. The Silk Therapy has silk proteins in it to help reconstruct your hair and protect it from heat. It also helps get rid of frizz and you can put it in your hair if you want it to air dry. I don't suggest chemical straightening because when your hair grows out, the roots will be curly and you will have to flat iron it anyway to make your hair look right. Another thing you could try along with these products is going to a hairstylist and asking for a semi-permanent conditioning color like Redken Shades EQ. You can either get a color with this product or the stylist can put clear on your hair to make it shiny. This color will make your hair soft and help even out some of the frizzy texture. I always use this color in the fall and winter to moisturize and add shine to my hair after putting highlights in it during the summer. With these products I don't feel that you need mousse, hairspray, or pomade. You want your hair to feel soft, not crunchy or sticky. Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, you can email me. once a week i do oil treatment for my hair-it makes it look smoother and shiner

i use a chi to straigten my hair and it works great!! but to help the frizz problem i use Bed Head SuperStar (it comes in a purple bottle) It works miracles.

also at the end of your shower put some cold water on your hair and instead of wringing it -grab it in your hand and squeez softly going down, then leave your hair in a towel for 10 min then style

Tip: when you buy a shampoo of a brand keep buying the other products of the same brand EX: if you buy Panteen Pro-v Hydrating Curls and then you want to buy a mousse dont buy suave or another brand mousse keep buing panteen pro-v products and thats why somtmes curls dont come out like you wnt them to do!!!
