I cant do anything with my hair its too thick ?

my hair is to thick to do anything with. i try to let it lay curly but it just looks big and bushy.when i straighten it it dosnt work its just kinks.i go to the hairdressers to get it thined out but it only lasts a few weeks.i have no idea what to doo? anyone go any ideas???

my son has the same problem, the only answer is to grow it longer, and straighten it, but tie the top section up and do it in thinner sections until its all done, then use the TINIEST bit of Fudge shaper, sleek it over and it will prevent it kinking up during the day with humidity etc, good luck

we tried many many things with his hair and this is the only thing that works, we tried every serum etc and we even chemically straightened his hair, that just dried it out and made it worse

i get mine thinned like you said %26amp; i love that.

i would suggest getting a really good straightener.

or get your hair permenently straightened. that can be expensive though depending on how much you are willing to spend ( over $500) %26amp; it has to be repeated throughout the years.

maybe talk to your hairdresser and see what she has to say, because she would know best!

also, straightening your hair is known to thin it out.

try buying body silk ( $40) at your salon. it doesn't thin my hair it just makes it look thin and not pooff!! OH and try some shampoos such as sunsilk anti-poof =) i hope this helped you some how!!

I bet your hair would look beautiful with thick chunky lawyers in it. When your hair is wet put a smoothing light hold gel in it, especially the ends of the layers and use a big round brush to make it curl under. :) ALso highlights look great in hair like that!
