Thick hair on body?

My daughter id 5 yrs old and she is very hairy, she has got thick hair specially on arms, legs, and back. I am quite worried for her, please advise some home remedy for her.

She is 5 years old!!! I think the last thing you should be doing is seeking hair removal ideas off the internet for a child! Seek advice from her pedi before you listen to any of the dummies suggesting waxing! The only thing you will do is permanantly traumatize her if you do that.

Is she named Chewbacca? Sounds like you might have to take her to a dermatologist, in my opinion. They might suggest lasering it off, although I'd sure hate to go to that extreme for a 5 year old (although it does NOT hurt).

Good God. You don't wax a five year old! (Not that I thought you would, that was directed at the other person!) I really don't know if there IS anything you can do for her at that age. Most things that come to mind are either painful or stinky, neither of which a five year old is likely to tolerate.

she is too young to wax or shave.Once you shave,you will have to do it more often.She's just fine ,just wait til she's a little older.Im 16 and im hairy but i dont shave my arms.Noone really cares.

Does the hair bother her? If it doesn't, then I wouldn't take action quite yet... that would be bringing something to her attention that might not bother her for many years otherwise. But, I would reccomend maybe getting her to a dermotologist or something, just to gather up as much info as you can when the time to do something comes.
